Note: I am not a member of any Shingon-shu Temple, nor have I been initiated into such. I am not a monk, nor a priest. I simply believe Shingon-shu to be the truth. So, I merely practice what is publically available to me, until such time as I find a teacher, formal or informal. So, what I have on these pages is NOT authoritative in any sense of the term.Use your own judgement on the materials presented here. Gassho.
The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao.
The name that can be named is not the eternal name.
The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth.
The named is the mother of ten thousand things.
Ever desireless, one can see the mystery.
Ever desiring, one can see the manifestations.
These two spring from the same source but differ in name;
this appears as darkness.
Darkness within darkness.
The gate to all mystery.
